Recently my father was admitted to palliative care at the Ayr hospital. I couldn't fault the care my father was given. Even to the end he was shown the utmost respect, all the care and respect that was shown was greatfully appreciated. Thank you to all the staff involved.
No one in the reception for more than an hour. Ridiculous
Absolutely disgraceful towards an elderly patient confined to a wheelchair, he had such frail arms and could barely move the wheelchair along. (his destination would have literally taken an hour by himself) All the staff members KNEW he was struggling and so many simply waved to him as they passed by. Had a non local person not been there to help he would surely have been there quite a while struggling. One incredibly obese nurse said for him to "hurry up" in a joking manner. So instead of any of these lazy people helping a patient out which wouldn't have taken long. He has to rely on strangers helping him out. Get your act together. I imagined myself in his position and felt quite depressed. How sickening.
