Got caught up in the Townsville floods and although I didn't stay the night the staff (Carol) were more than helpful.I can't speak more highly of them and if you need to stay in Ayr this is definitely the best place.
Good showers well set ou t park.
For a Big4 it was low standards. It felt more of a backpackers accommodation with the number of backpackers staying there. It has been the only caravan park i have ever stayed at that charges you to use the BBQs. $1 a pop, not even long enough to cook your meat.

I love this park as a working backpacker. Good quality rooms, bathrooms and kitchens. All clean too. There's also a pool and green area to relax at. The staff are great and always helpful
